About Our Team

Carol and Briggs Christie moved from San Jose, California to the windward side of Oahu in the summer of 1999 (after realizing that, every time they visited Hawaii and returned to Silicon Valley, they wondered why). Briggs continued consulting on the mainland via telecommute, working with Analysis Team, a Business Intelligence firm based in Mountain View. Carol took some time to volunteer at various venues in the area, most notably Sea Life Park in Waimanalo, after a long career in the venture capital arena. As the years have passed, they've managed to run a vacation rental which continues on, open a dive shop, and become active in the community. Whether it's making breakfast for a homeless transition program, speaking to local gatherings about cancer prevention or helping to put on a concert on the windward side of Oahu, the Christies value their opportunities to volunteer.
